Angela Mullins
Angela has 10 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents and families in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as crisis situations. Angela enjoys working with adults and addressing concerns around codependency, addiction, attachment, self-harm, lack of boundaries, and unresolved trauma. During the completion of her graduate studies, she completed a 15-month practicum and internship providing individual and group counseling to adults experiencing co-occurring substance, and acute and persistent mental health issues.
Following graduation, she worked as a mobile crisis responder, assisting in the community with adults who were experiencing suicidal, homicidal or psychotic thoughts or actions and assisted in getting them the help they needed. Following this experience she was a clinical case manager for behaviorally challenged foster kids. In her private practice, she works with personality disorders, substance use and abuse, codependency and unresolved trauma.
Angela received her BS in Psychology in 2011 from Middle Tennessee State University after an extended break from education. After nearly a decade in the legal field she decided to move more in the direction of helping. She rapidly applied to Trevecca Nazarene University’s Masters program, a CACREP accredited program and much to her surprise was not only accepted but was granted a spot in their weekend sessions that were geared towards working adults. She graduated in December 2014 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
In April 2015 she was granted her temporary license in Tennessee and in January 2018 she was fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider in the state of Tennessee.
In June 2018 she was granted her Licensed Mental Health Counselor license in the state of Washington.
In April of 2020 she was granted her Licensed Professional Counselor status in the state of Georgia.
In July of 2021 she was granted her Licensed Professional Counselor status in the state of Oregon.
Angela Mullins is in network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Optum/UHC, Pacific Source, Premera, and Regence and is only practicing via telehealth.
