If you're new to Waypoint, or new to therapy in general, these questions will help you get started on your journey.


Are your clinicians licensed?

Yes, our clinicians are licensed.  From time to time, we may also employ interns working on their licensure.
 

Do you accept insurance?

We accept self-pay and insurance clients, and are happy to provide a super-bill for clients seeking reimbursement from their insurance provider. Angela Mullins is in network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Optum/UHC, Pacific Source, Premera, and Regence.
 

How soon can I see a therapist?

We do our best to get new clients scheduled and seen in a timely manner.  If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, visit your nearest emergency room, or call the appropriate crisis line for your state:

How long do therapy sessions take?

Therapy sessions typically last 45-55 minutes.  Intake sessions can sometimes be longer. All therapy sessions can be customized to meet individual needs.
 

What are your rates?

Rates vary depending on which therapist you choose, their expertise areas, and the experience required for a given patient's needs.  Group rates will also vary. For more information on therapy rates, contact us
 

How do I setup an appointment?

To setup an intake and initial therapy session with a Waypoint therapist, visit our contact form and submit a request.
 

Do I need to fill out any paperwork before my first session?

Yes, once you have scheduled your intake appointment we will send you a request to create an account on our client portal where you can complete the documents electronically.
 

What if you don't serve my area?

We are connected with a network of licensed, professional therapists across the United States. To receive a referral, contact us today. 
 

Do you prescribe medicine?

We do not have a prescribing provider on staff, but we collaborate with many providers in the area who may be able to assist with any medication needs.
 

What if I have an after-hours emergency?

Waypoint Therapy Solutions does not operate an after-hours emergency services line. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately, visit your nearest hospital emergency room, or call the crisis line for your state:
